LONGARM QUILTING SERVICES

We create quilts to serve a number of purposes - to hang on a wall as artwork, to cover the laps of our loved ones and keep them snuggly and warm while sitting on the couch, or to be spread across a bed as a focal point in a bedroom. These different uses warrant different quilting approaches - an art quilt or wall hanging will likely be quilted much more densely than a quilt that is destined to be wrapped around a new baby. When you share the intended use for your quilt with me, I can help you determine the best way to quilt it to enhance its beauty, practicality, and usefulness.

As your longarm quilter, I will collaborate with you to create a beautiful, one of a kind work of art that is ideally suited to its intended purpose.

I provide both digital edge-to-edge designs and custom quilting. Edge-to-edge quilting results in a repeating pattern that is uniform across the quilt top. Custom quilting means that specific patterns are chosen and placed in ways that enhance the piecing. This can be done by using the computer to set up patterns in specific locations on the quilt, by quilting freehand, or by using a combination of the two to complete your piece of art.

​I would love to help! When you book your quilt with me, you have the option to have me pick the design(s) entirely and/or make the thread choice for your quilt. This is helpful when you’re not sure where to start or what the best fit is for the quilt.
